After your initial treatment at the Oasis of Hope Hospital, we encourage you to come back to the hospital for follow-up visits. It has been our experience that the patients who return periodically tend to recover faster and have better long lasting results. Follow-up visits are the most effective way for us to make any modifications to your home therapy program and for you to clarify any part of the treatment with your doctor.

Your health is important to us and to circumvent any financial difficulty, we offer you a follow-up program at no additional cost. The follow-up program consists of ten visits over a five year period to Oasis of Hope, one every six months after your initial inpatient program.

Each visit includes:

• One consultation with an Oasis of Hope physician.
• Review of your medical history.
  
• Lodging for one night at the Oasis of Hope Hospital.
  
• Three meals for patient and companion.
  
• Free round-trip shuttle from the San Diego airport to Oasis of  Hope for the patient and a companion.

Though you will be responsible for your travel expenses, KEM, S.A. Laboratories will offer a 10% discount on all of their products you need to continue your treatment. This will help offset any expenses you might incur with your return to the Oasis of Hope. Over the years we have identified two main success factors for our patients once they return home after initial treatment at Oasis of Hope.  These two points will make a big difference in your home therapy program.

1. You must adhere to the therapy.
   
2. You need to come back to Oasis of Hope periodically for our doctors to see you and make modifications necessary. 

We are committed to your recovery and believe so much in the value of follow-up that we will see you here every six months for a two-day visit for the next five years at no charge.

Your follow-up visits will include:

• Round-trip transportation to Oasis of Hope from San Diego Airport
  
• One-night stay at Oasis of Hope for you and a companion
  
• Four Oasis of Hope meals for you and your companion
  
• Consultation with an Oasis of Hope physician

We will also be calling you periodically to consult you over the phone and schedule your next follow-up visit.

• Home Care Program

Your doctor will be developing your Oasis of Hope home therapy program. He will give you a prescription before you leave. You will need to purchase enough medication to last until your next follow-up visit since international law does not allow medication to be shipped over international borders. The good news is that US law will allow you to enter into the country with your medication as long as you have a prescription.
